CDSA is a statewide association representing nearly 100 community-based organizations that support and empower persons with developmental disabilities and their families, helping to create choices and opportunities that enhance the quality of their lives.

The educational arm of CDSA, the California Disability Services Institute, a 501(c) (3), has two important educational missions; training the dedicated professionals who provide services to people with developmental disabilities and educating people with developmental disabilities and their families about the services they can receive and issues affecting those services.
