Assemblymember Frazier Resolution Recognizes March as National Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month
On Thursday, March 22, Assemblymember Jim Frazier presented a House Resolution on the Floor of the Assembly recognizing March as National Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month, which passed unanimously. During his remarks, Frazier said, “this resolution (recognizes) the efforts of those individuals and organizations who have worked diligently to increase the awareness of developmental disabilities, and support the diversity and capabilities of all California residents, particularly those who experience developmental disabilities.”
CDSA, along with other organizations, was recognized for our support and advancement of the interests of individuals with developmental disabilities in California. We were joined in recognition by Audrua Sysum, a self-advocate, Futures Explored, The Arc of California, The State Council on Developmental Disabilities, and Disability Rights California.
