Event FAQs
Cancellation Policy
CDSA/CDSI reserves the right to cancel any event. If an event must be postponed or canceled for any reason every effort will be made to notify those in advance who have pre-registered and have provided a contact phone number or email address. If an event is to be rescheduled, all registrants will be notified of the new date. In the event of cancellation, registrants will receive a full refund. We also reserve the right to substitute event presenters as needed.
Refund Policy
CDSA/CDSI will assess a 25% handling charge for cancellations received up to five (5) business days prior to the training event (meetings, workshop, conferences, etc.). Cancellations received after this deadline will not be refunded.
Late Cancellation Policy/No Show Policy
Registrants who are “no-shows” for an event, or cancel a registration less than five (5) business days before a scheduled event, will not qualify for a refund. In lieu of canceling a registration, a registrant may send a substitute in his or her place (see substitution policy).
Substitution Policy
Event registrations are transferrable from one participant to another within an organization; however, CDSA is not able to transfer a registration payment from one event to another. Contact msmith@cal-dsa.org to cancel, transfer or inquire about events.
