The compact, day-and-a-half program will include policy briefings, advocacy training sessions and pre-scheduled legislative visits for all conference participants. The 2012 conference will focus on how service providers can address new funding realities. Persons with developmental disabilities, family members and board members from CDSA member organizations are encouraged to participate in CDSA’s 2012 Legislative Affairs Conference!
All community advocate attendees who register for the conference will gain:
• Valuable training from other advocates – March 6 from 3:00-5:00 pm
• Meals and networking with service providers –breakfast & lunch on March 7
• Meeting with Legislators* -- between 9:00 am and 4:00 pm on March 7
• Additional “eyes-only” registration for one support staff (does not include a seat in legislative meetings)

Airport Shuttle: To help with travel expenses and to encourage more community member involvement, CDSA will provide a shuttle. The shuttle will be available for attendees to/from the airport on Tuesday (3/6) from 10:30 am-12:30 pm and on Wednesday (3/7) from 5:00 pm-7:00 pm.
